Blind Tasting using the Deductive Method

The best way to understand the nuances between grapes and countries is to taste them all - lots of them! Here's a fun challenge: ask your favorite bartender to pour half glasses of two whites and two reds (ask that they choose wines made from a single varietal or blends from the major regions in France). Turn your backs while they pour (no cheating!) and, voila, you have a blind tasting challenge! A big thank you to Courtney and Matthew at Caliza in Alys Beach for bringing their A game every night to our little competitions.

Here are the forms we use to help us figure out the wine we are tasting. Print them out and try it for yourselves. We think you will have fun with them too. Let us know how it goes!
