The Paloma, or dove in English, is a very popular highball south of the border. Typically this cocktail is made with tequila and grapefruit juice or grapefruit flavored soda. He and She's version is made with Sauvignon Blanc instead of tequila... and with warm weather finally here, why not take it up a notch by freezing it into a slushy!?
- 1 part Sauvignon Blanc
- 1 part ruby red grapefruit juice
Pour the wine and juice into a shallow container and place in the freezer. Every 30 minutes scrape the ice with a fork until it is the consistency of shaved ice, usually a few hours. Scoop into chilled Champagne coupes and serve immediately.
