Fish & Chips London

Fish & Chips London

This past week my wife and I went on a trip to London. It was our first time being back since before we had children and we were so excited to visit our favorite food spots and of course new ones. One of our first meals was at a small restaurant off of Elm Street, which is smack dab in the middle of the west side of the city. The atmosphere was beautiful, not to mention the amazing white wine and traditional London cuisine we chowed down on. My wife Maureen ordered the fish and chips which uniquely came with three different sauces on the side. We drank the Pinot Grigio from South France called The Furst. It was a lovely wine to pair with the fried nature of fish and chips.

Naturally, I got a Guinness dark lager and tried out a kabob instead. Still a delicious meal, but maybe not so English of me. Oh well, our next stop is the tea house!
